ℹ️Small drop-off site. Convenience centers are neighborhood drop-offs, not full dumps. Check what this one takes below; heavy loads and construction debris usually need a bigger site. Bigger sites in Polk County: North Central Transfer Station.
⚠️This is a pilot program. The county gives no end date. It opened June 1, 2026 per the May 26, 2026 county release.
⚠️The county prints no effective date for these flat rates. They match the May 26, 2026 release and the current Landfill page.
⚠️Polk County residents only, with proof of residency (the county does not list which documents). No commercial use, including automated dump trailers.
⚠️No cash. Tap to Pay, Apple Pay, debit and credit cards accepted.
⚠️The Landfill page and the pilot release print this address without a ZIP; the ZIP 33844 is from the Solid Waste main page.
⚠️Polk bills once a week trash collection through an annual assessment (Residential Waste page). No county page read prints a dollar amount for the assessment or any free disposal allowance tied to it at the landfill, transfer station or convenience center. Not found, call to confirm.
⚠️Storm rules may override normal fees and hours after a hurricane. The Hurricane Preparation page says storm debris is collected separately under FEMA and county guidelines and prints no drop-off site or fee waiver. In 2026 the county took freeze-related yard waste at the transfer station for a $10 flat fee from March 4 through May 4, 2026 (ended).
