🗓️ How Pickup Works
Black (trash), blue (recycling) and green (organics) bins are each listed as weekly curbside service. Bins must be at the curb by 6:00 AM on collection day, with 3 feet of space between them and away from parked cars.
LASAN city crews serve single-family homes. LASAN's site says multifamily residents are served by recycLA, not LASAN; the recycLA haulers by zone were not researched here.

🛋️ Bulk Item Pickup
- 💵Cost: Free. LASAN describes it as an unlimited curbside service at no additional charge.
- 📞How to book: Request through the MyLA311 service request form (https://myla311.lacity.gov/s/), the MyLA311 mobile app, or by calling 1-800-773-2489. Pickup is on your regular trash day; you must let LASAN know at least one business day before.
- 📏Limits: No per-pickup item limit stated; LASAN asks you to list your items so it sends the right-sized truck. LASAN does not collect automotive parts, construction material, commercial waste, or cardboard.

🎄 Holiday Delays
When a major holiday falls on a weekday, everyone's service is bumped one day later for the rest of that week. Holidays on weekends do not change pickup days. Holidays named: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
