Household garbage collection is conducted weekly, and garbage and trash (yard debris, limbs, appliances, furniture) are collected on the same day. Find your neighborhood's collection day on the Subdivision Pick-up Schedule page or in the 2026 Waste Management Calendar. Have Town-issued roll carts curbside by 7:00 am with handles facing the house; pickup is not at a set time. Remove carts within 12 hours of collection.
The Town's Waste Management Division performs weekly curbside collection of garbage and trash; only Town-issued carts are collected. "Recycling is managed by the County in accordance with state regulations" (Charleston County).
