🗓️ How Pickup Works
Use the City's Pickup Schedule lookup for trash, recycling and bulk/yard days; pickups run Monday through Saturday. The City's FY 2025/2026 fee schedule describes single-family service as "Trash Pick Up 2x per week and Yard/Bulk 1x per week" and "Recycling Pick up 1 x per week." Place your can curbside the night before collection day but no earlier than 6 p.m., front facing the street, at least ten feet from yard trash, poles and mailboxes. Yard waste and bulk go out no earlier than one day before pickup.
The City collects yard waste and bulk items from single-family homes and bills sanitation fees. For recycling, the City page says "Bins are provided through Solid Waste Authority and picked up by Waste Pro." Inference: City crews also collect household garbage (the City handles garbage carts and missed pickups), but no page checked states who drives the garbage routes.
