🔎 Sources Disagree
- 🔎Scrap metal: the Citizens' Drop-off Area fee page (effective July 1, 2024) says there is no fee for scrap metal; the Materials Accepted and Fees page says steel and other metals and empty propane tanks are "charged at normal rate of $49.50 per ton" (no date). We use the dated drop-off fee page.
- 🔎An older County page headed "Fees effective 1/1/2021" is still online with lower fees ($1.00 per bag up to 35 gallons, $5.00 per cubic yard furniture, $9.00 per cubic yard brush and debris). It is superseded by the July 1, 2024 page and not used.
