🗓️ How Pickup Works
Weekly service for single-family homes. Use the City's map to find your pick-up day. Set carts at the curb with handles facing your home, no earlier than 4 p.m. the day before collection. Street sweeping is on the same schedule, so place carts on the curb or in the driveway, not in the street. Each cart is collected by a separate truck on your service day.
Republic Services has been the City's trash and recycling company since July 1, 2022, and provides weekly trash service for single-family homes.

🛋️ Bulk Item Pickup
- 💵Cost: Free for curbside customers four times each year. Bulky Item Pickup Fee (In Excess of 4 Free Pickups per Year and/or 4 items per pickup): $59.42, effective July 1, 2026.
- 📞How to book: Call Republic Services at (657) 467-6220. Republic's service guide says items are collected within five working days after the request.
- 📏Limits: Up to four items per pickup, four 30-gallon bags of trash, or twenty 30-gallon bags of yard waste (per Republic's guide). Multifamily complexes with three or more units may combine for up to 10 items per unit per calendar quarter. Not accepted: hazardous waste, construction and demolition waste, tires and car bodies, any single item that takes more than two workers to handle.

🎄 Holiday Delays
When a listed holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed one day. Holidays named: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
♻️ Recycling
Accepted, empty, clean and dry: paper and cardboard, metal cans, plastic and glass. Not accepted: diapers and pet waste, plastic bags and Styrofoam, clothing and bedding, yard and food waste, hazardous waste, furniture and appliances, and similar items.
